A multi-currency invoicing app that adds up your earnings
Updated
Mintvo lets you bill each client in their own currency and adds everything up in your currency on the dashboard. Paid invoices convert at the exchange rate on the day they were paid, and money still owed converts at today's rate.
Why the payment-day rate matters
If you invoice €2,000 in March and get paid in April, what you earned is €2,000 at April's rate, not at today's. Converting everything at today's rate makes past months change every time the rate moves.
Mintvo stores the rate for each payment day, so last month's total stays what it was.
How it works
Set a currency on each client, or on a single invoice. Your base currency is in Settings. The dashboard shows this month, this year and what's still owed in that base currency.
If a rate isn't available for a currency, Mintvo tells you which one instead of guessing.
What Mintvo doesn't do
Mintvo doesn't process card payments itself. If you want card payments, add your own Stripe payment link and it shows as a pay button.
It isn't accounting software either: there's no bookkeeping, bank feed or tax filing. You can export invoices and payments as CSV for your accountant.
Questions
- Which currencies can I invoice in?
- Any standard currency code. Each client can have its own currency, and you can change it per invoice.
- Where do the exchange rates come from?
- Mintvo uses published daily reference rates and keeps the rate for each date, so a paid invoice always converts at the rate on the day it was paid.
- Can I export the converted totals?
- You can export invoices and payments as CSV for any date range, ready for a spreadsheet or your accountant.
